Lighting the Path of Education in Pakistan

At Rahe Ilm, we are dedicated to breaking the cycle of child labor and ensuring that every child has access to quality, inclusive education. Guided by compassion and community-driven action, we work toward a future where no child is left behind.

Our Story

The Journey of Rahe Ilm

Rahe Ilm began with a simple yet powerful belief: every child deserves the right to learn, dream, and grow. Founded by Mohammad Daud Husain, a student passionate about children’s rights, Rahe Ilm was born out of a deep concern for the millions of children in Pakistan trapped in child labor instead of classrooms. The name Rahe Ilm means “The Path of Education” in Urdu, a reflection of our mission to guide children away from hardship and toward brighter futures through learning. What makes Rahe Ilm unique is our holistic approach: we don’t just raise awareness about child labor, we also provide real solutions, from education initiatives and scholarships to advocacy for special education and inclusive learning. By combining grassroots action with community empowerment, we’re building sustainable change that uplifts not only children but also their families and communities.

Our Mission

At Rahe Ilm, our mission is to end child labor, expand access to education, and champion inclusivity for children of all backgrounds and abilities.

Our Vision

We envision a Pakistan where every child learns freely, grows with dignity, and contributes to building a stronger, more equitable future.

Core Values

Our work is guided by compassion, equality, integrity, empowerment, and inclusivity, values that ensure every child given the chance to thrive.

Our Approach

We combine awareness, advocacy, and direct community support to break cycles of child labor and open doors to education for all children in Pakistan.

About Our Founder

Rahe Ilm was founded by Mohammad Daud Husain, a student and passionate advocate for children’s rights and education. Growing up with a deep awareness of the challenges faced by children in underprivileged communities, he was moved by the harsh reality of child labor and the barriers that prevent millions of children in Pakistan from accessing quality education.
Believing that every child deserves the chance to learn and dream, Mohammad started Rahe Ilm as a student-led initiative to raise awareness, mobilize communities, and create opportunities for children to break free from cycles of poverty and exploitation. His vision is to build a more inclusive future where education is not a privilege, but a right for all.

Founder’s Motto

Education is not just about books, it is the key to dignity, freedom, and a brighter tomorrow."

Our Journey So Far

Every step we take brings us closer to a Pakistan where every child learns freely. Through our projects and community-driven efforts, Rahe Ilm has already created meaningful change.
